About Riverton
Riverton sits directly east of Herriman, with South Jordan to the north, Draper to the east and Bluffdale to the south. The Jordan River forms its eastern boundary. The city was largely agricultural for most of its history, and widespread residential development began in the late 1960s. Riverton had 45,285 residents at the 2020 census.
